My name is Carissa Slater. I am a senior at Washington State University graduating in December of 2019 with my B.A. in Journalism and Media Production with minors in Environmental Science and Sports Communitcation.
I have a passion for digital storytelling and marketing. I love to work with people and help tell their stories. Beyond telling stories, I have learned to help expand digitial media profiles and platforms. My experience ranges from class mock companies to being instramental in implimenting a media plan at the Department of Natural Resources in Washington to expand their social media presence.
I believe transparency and honesty creates a good backbone in anyone. It is important that everyone is on the same pages and feels inclusive in a positive energy. Without positivity, you cannot expect people to enjoy and put their heart in to what they do.
